Rezin and Anthony to host free Senior Fair

MORRIS, IL – State Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) will host a free Senior Fair with State Rep. John Anthony (R-Morris) in June aimed at providing screenings and information for seniors in the area.

The event will be held Wednesday, June 25 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at White Oak School in Morris.

Information available at the fair includes nutrition, eye health, assisted living, diabetes, transportation, veterans’ assistance, safety in your home, library programs for seniors, internet safety, identity theft and hospice.

In addition, attendees will be able to take advantage of blood pressure, posture, and diabetes screenings as well as chair massages, mini acupuncture treatments and a health exam.

Over 40 participants will be a part of the fair including Assisted Transition, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Community Nutrition Network, Grundy County Health Department, Hines V.A. Hospital, LaSalle County Nursing Home, Office of the Attorney General, Quality Home Health Inc., Will/Grundy Center for Independent Living, plus more.
