Rezin to host ‘Coffee & Conversation’ with constituents in Yorkville, Sandwich

State Sen. Sue Rezin is teaming up with other area lawmakers and local officials to host a “Coffee and Conversation,” an informal forum where constituents can talk to officials about topics important to them, ask questions, and receive updates on legislation, projects, and issues.

Rezin is hosting two “Coffee and Conversation” events in Kendall County. The first is Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Yorkville City Hall (800 Game Farm Road) from 4:00-6:00pm. She’ll be joined by Yorkville Mayor Gary Golinski and Kendall County Sheriff Dwight Baird.

The second “Coffee and Conversation” is Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the Timber Creek Inn and Suites (3300 Drew St.) in Sandwich from 5:00-7:00pm. She’ll be joined by State Rep. Tom Demmer (R-Dixon), State Rep. Jerry Long (R-Streator), Sandwich Mayor Rick Olson, and Sandwich Police Chief James Bianchi.

“This is a great opportunity for constituents to speak one-on-one with their elected officials about issues important to them,” Rezin said. “This isn’t a formal town hall style event. It’s simply come whenever you can, stop in, and if you have a question or concern, then make sure you talk to us. I look forward to meeting more of my constituents and personally hearing what is important to them in their community.”

Coffee and soft drinks will be provided at the event, which is free and open to the public.
