Sen. Rezin answers call to serve on Senate Republican Leadership once more

State Senator Sue Rezin (R-Morris) was re-appointed to the Senate Republican Leadership team Tuesday, Jan. 15. Senate Republican Leader Bill Brady (R-Bloomington) reappointed Sen. Rezin to Assistant Republican Leader. She has served in this position since 2015.

In this role, Sen. Rezin will continue to work closely with Senate Republican Leadership on important legislation and issues facing the state. They will evaluate concerns such as property tax reform, how to reduce state spending, how to cut back on the overall tax burden on families, and how to build pro-business reforms to attract employers.

“Sen. Rezin is a dedicated public servant and a proven leader who brings vital experience to the leadership team,” said Leader Brady. “As we navigate the waters of this new General Assembly, I’m proud to serve with Sen. Rezin.”

“It’s once again a great honor to serve on Senate Republican Leadership,” said Sen. Rezin. “As we enter a new General Assembly, we have a great opportunity to focus on reforms that address the issues facing Illinois. I look forward to working on these concerns with the Leadership team as well as my other colleagues on both sides of the aisle.”
