50 Paid Internship Opportunities for Local Juniors and Seniors through Grundy County Summer Internship Program

The Grundy Economic Development Council (GEDC) and the Grundy Area Vocational Center (GAVC) are pleased to announce 50 paid internship opportunities for the 2017 Grundy County Summer Internship program.  The program, now in its fifth year, has grown exponentially thanks to the successful partnership between the education and business communities.  

Summer internships are available to all juniors and seniors from the four area high schools, Coal City, Gardner/South Wilmington, Minooka, and Morris.   A wide variety of paid internships are available, including but not limited to, accounting, engineering, IT, health care, machinists, and much more.   Most positions are full-time however, part-time opportunities area available to accommodate interns with other summer commitments.

Students may view the positions and apply online at the GAVC website, gavc-il.org.   All applications must be submitted by February 22, 2017.   If students have additional questions, they can speak with the guidance counselors at their respective schools.
