State Senator Sue Rezin will host a free Senior Health Fair Wednesday, September 12 at Simply Kracked (830 Harrison Street) in Peru from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This is the former site of The Eagle’s Lodge.
The public is invited to learn about alternative ways to lead a happier and healthier life. Free health screenings will be available including blood pressure and glucose. Pneumonia shots and flu shots will also be available. Proof of insurance is required for the shots as there will be no cash or credit card transactions.
A variety of vendors will also be on hand to discuss programs that benefit seniors and legislative brochures will be available. Free refreshments will be provided.
