Rezin relaunches annual Valentines for Seniors program

As Valentine’s Day approaches, State Senator Sue Rezin is once again seeking to brighten the day for local senior citizens through her annual “Valentines for Seniors” card drive.

To help with this goal, Sen. Bryant is asking students, scout groups, churches, and other groups to consider creating homemade cards that will be delivered to nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, and other long-term care facilities throughout the 38th Senate District.

Cards can be mailed or dropped off from now until February 5th to one of Sen. Rezin’s district office, which are in Peru, Morris, and DeKalb. Additionally, we will have a drop-off box at the Yorkville Public Library that will be available during regular library hours.

If delivering cards in person, please place them in the marked mailbox located inside the Morris or Peru office between normal business hours, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

If you need to drop off at the DeKalb location, please call 815-220-8720 for office hours.
