Rezin receives Partnership Award

State Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) recently received the Partnership Award from the Grundy Economic Development Council.

From their press release:
“Economic development is a team effort and there are great partners in Grundy County.  Although the award hasn’t been given recently, this year’s recipient goes the extra mile for economic development.  Thankfully Grundy County is blessed with legislative leaders that support the business community.  In this case, Senator Sue Rezin has made creating jobs and encouraging business investment a top priority.  From her legislative start in 2010, she has been an important partner with the GEDC.  Senator Rezin calls prospects and attends prospect meetings, which has a great impact.  She goes out and visits businesses and when needed, works with state agencies like the IEPA and IDOT.  And just this year under Senator Rezin’s leadership, a summer internship program will begin with local students and businesses.  Thank you for being a voice for the Grundy County business community both at home and in Springfield.”
