State Senator Sue Rezin is seeking highly motivated and hardworking undergraduate students to work as interns in her district offices situated in Morris, Peru, and DeKalb, Illinois.
The internship program is intended to offer hands-on experience to students who are interested in pursuing careers in government, public affairs, or other related fields.
Each student intern who works in Senator Rezin’s office will closely collaborate with the district staff on community outreach, correspond with constituents, build databases, and represent the senator’s office at various functions. During their tenure, student interns will understand the daily operations of a legislative district office and acquire transferable skills that will help them in their future professional pursuits.
