State Sen. Sue Rezin will host a ceremony that officially marks Route 251 from Tonica to Mendota as the Witczak Brothers Memorial Highway with Anthony Witzcak, his family and friends, members of the community, and veterans. The public is invited to attend to show support. It’s Wednesday, September 28 at 10:30am with a Veterans social hour to follow. It’s at the Tonica Fire Station, 507 N. First Street in Tonica. This site is just a few hundred yards away from where one of the “Witczak Brothers Memorial Highway” signs is going up along Rt. 251.
