Rezin appointed to National Conference of State Legislatures Executive Committee

State Senator Sue Rezin (R-Morris) last week was appointed to serve on the 63-member Executive Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). The Executive Committee is the governing body of the conference.

In this role, Sen. Rezin will join her colleagues from all 50 states numerous times throughout the year to supervise, direct and implement policies.

“I am honored and humbled to serve in this capacity for such a distinguished organization,” said Sen. Rezin. “NCSL provides valuable resources to legislators across the nation, and I look forward to working with and learning from my colleagues from different parts of the country. I’m grateful to give Illinois a voice on this honorable committee.”

NCSL is a bipartisan organization that brings legislators and staff from across the county together to collaborate and share information to help craft the best solutions to problems states face.
