Rezin reacts to the passage of Senate Bill 2412

State Senator Sue Rezin (R-Morris) released the following statement in response to the passage of Senate Bill 2412, which changes Illinois’ election process in the middle of this year’s ongoing election cycle:

“Free and fair elections are the bedrock of our nation. It is undemocratic to make such major changes to our state’s election process in the middle of the current election cycle in order to limit people’s ability to choose their future elected officials. First, politicians picked their voters with redistricting, and now they are picking their opponents with this legislation. The people of our state and nation have lost faith in our election process, and Senate Bill 2412 only reinforces those sentiments.”
